In some cases, tooth removal, otherwise known as extraction, is unfortunately unavoidable if the tooth cannot be restored in any other way, is no longer in the bone or the loss of healty tooth material is too great. A tooth extraction is obviously not pleasant, but we do not start the extraction until the tooth and its surroundings are completely anesthetized. Of course, no one likes to be toothless, so we plan the tooth extraction so that the patient remains without a tooth for a minimum period of time. A temporary prosthesis or bridge can be made even before removal, which covers the missing tooth while the wound heals or the implant ossifies, thus preserving the ability to chew and aesthetics. So you arrive and leave our office chair with teeth.
